The 2009/2010 Guitar Club presented “Guitar Club & Friends Showcase” on May 13, 2010 at the Anne Portnuff Theatre.  It was a fabulous show.  The library has a DVD of the evening if you missed it. (Click here for pictures and the program.)

Our Showcase evening capped a busy year for the Guitar Club.  We played at the YRHS Fine Arts Night, the Good Spirit School Division Awards Banquet, three noon hour jams, a noon hour Christmas concert, and the YRHS Courtyard Legacy evening.

Thank you to all members for your contribution and to the adult advisors for their time and efforts.  Good luck to the members who are graduating this year.  We wish you well and hope that music continues to play an important part in your life.

2010/2011 Guitar Club will start again in September.  Listen to the announcements for the details.  You don’t have to play guitar well to be in the Club.  We will work with you at what ever level you are at.  You actually don’t need to play the guitar at all!  We will incorporate whatever instrument you play.  And we are always looking for singers.
