The Legacy Courtyard Garden Committee hosted a Garden Festival on Wednesday May the 12. It was a beautiful, calm evening and many guests attended to see the displays and to be entertained by the Guitar Club.

The admissoin to the evening was two dollars or a plant, and we generated a modest amount of funds to purchase some annuals for the gardens. We also received many perennials which have already been planted. We hope to plant more as they arrive.

The purpose of the evening was to also generate awareness of our project and to encourage more people to become an active part of the Courtyards Revitalization by volunteering their time and labour, donating funds as well as plants, and also by sharing their knowledge and expertise.

The committee would like to thank all those people who set up displays, provided the entertainment as well as those who came to enjoy the evening!!!

Our Common Vision Is:

Staff and students, in partnership with the community, will revitalize and replant the Courtyard Gardens, with an emphasis on Sustainable Landscape Design, Universal Design for Accessibility, and on Educating and Fostering stewardship of our natural enviroment.
