Today's Announcements (Thursday, Sep 2, 2010):

Alternate Schedule on Friday: Motivational speaker "Hour Glass" will be here to talk to all students in the Anne Portnuff Theatre at 10:00am. Classes will be adjusted accordingly.

Sr Raider Football will have its home game opener against Luther tomorrow starting at 2:30pm in Century Field. Come out and cheer them on to victory!

Boys' Volleyball tryouts will occur today at 3:45-5:45pm. Check posters in the hallway or see Mr. Pfeiffer or Mr. Wandy. These tryouts are for all grades 9 - 12 and both Junior and Senior teams.

Attention all Grade 9 boys: We are short players for the Grade 9 boys volleyball team. Come out to practice today at 3:45. See Mr Ingham for more details.

Girls' Grade 9 Volleyball Tryouts start on Friday, Sep 3, at 3:45pm.

Boys' Soccer sign up sheet is in the main office. Tryouts begin after the long weekend.

Girls' Soccer sign up sheet is in Student Services today. First practice is on Tuesday, Sep 7, at 4:30pm. See Mrs Westberg by Friday if you have any questions.

If you are a golfer and would like to be on the YRHS Golf Team, sign up at the main office. See Mr. Tamblyn, Mr. Ingham, or Ms. Ruf for additional information.

YRHS Golf Team members meet today after school at the Soccer Field. Bring a wedge or 9 iron.

Do you have a good idea you'd like to see on the school website? Do you enjoy working with computers? Mr. Willems is looking for students interested in helping to maintain and improve the website. If you are interested, come to a short information meeting on Tuesday, Sep 7, after school in the Business Center. See Mr. Willems if you can't come to the meeting.
