Yorkton Regional High School The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Female Student of the Month for October is Alexis Holowatuk. Alexis is a Grade 12 student at the YRHS. She has participated in volleyball, badminton and pole vault. She now focuses on pursuing volleyball at a university or college level. She has played Senior Lady Raider Volleyball for 3 years and will now be going into her seventh year of Yorkton Blitz. She loves helping out the Kindergarten class at the Columbia School. She plans on going into early childhood development. Congratulations Alexis! The Boston Pizza Yorkton Regional High School Male Student of the Month for October is Cale Brown. Cale is a grade twelve student. He has played on the YRHS soccer team for four years, as well as playing club soccer most of his life. On the school team he went to provincials in grade nine and is off to Regina again in his final year. While playing on the club teams, he went to provincials numerous times, winning two years in a row, but fell short in the final the third time around. Cale also played Junior and Senior Football with the school and wrapped up his high school football with a tight loss to Luther in the playoffs, but hopes to play in the Senior Bowl this year. Along with playing football and soccer, Cale has also competed on the Track team since grade nine. He has dominated the 200 and 100 races at East Central every but has not followed through on his own at provincials. On relay teams he has won gold in the 4 x 100 meter and silver in the 4 x 100 meter. Cale also played volleyball in grade nine, tried cross country in grade twelve and is your Athlete Director this year on the SRC. Congratulations Cale!
